Ann worked for a number of years at HIS Spot for Tots preschool and childcare before becoming its director. Under her leadership the program has expanded.
A 1995 graduate of Coldwater High School, Ann has also obtained an Associates Degree from Kellogg Community College in Early Childhood Development.
Ann finds time after work to be a mom to 2 teenagers and also loves the theater! She frequently participates in local productions through her involvement with the Branch County Community Theater, which performs regularly at the (world famous) Tibbits Opera House. She has a passion for music and singing, especially classics from the 80s and 90s. She wishes she had more time to devote to another favorite hobby – reading. “So many books, so little time,” she says. She is also partial to the Spartans of MSU.
On her “bucket list” is one day to make a trip to Barbados and to visit the places there where her grandmother grew up. Sounds like a trip in February would be about right!
Operating a children’s ministry provides lots of humorous stories and experiences. Ask her sometime! Don’t worry, names will be changed to protect the guilty.
