Beginnings Care for Life Center
Beginnings Care for Life Center has been ministering to the local community since 1996.
MISSION STATEMENT:
"To reach out in the love of Jesus Christ to our community in a spirit of help, truth and hope. We offer education, material assistance and spiritual counsel in order to promote positive choices and healing for women, men, their pre-born children and their families."
Services are available at no charge and include free pregnancy tests, confidential pregnancy consultation, clothing and furnishings for mothers and babies, assistnace for male clients, post-abortion support, referrals for adoptions, childbirth classes, medical care, legal assistance, counseling, abstinence education materials and speakers and ongoing friendship, compassion and support. There is an "Earning and Learning" program to help young parents with life skills, a "Seekers" Bible Study and a Sexuality Integrity program to help young people learn to express their sexuality throughout life in a true, excellent, honest and pure way. The majority of the staff at Beginnings are volunteers who have a heart for women and are committed to God's word. They come from many different backgrounds and local churches. The common denominator is a passion for helping women through the pain they are experiencing and a determination to see them find God's plan for their lives. BCFL is grateful for the support given by First Baptist Church and their other many supporters. Donations of new and used baby items and furnishings, maternity and baby clothing (0-3T) clothing, diapers and financial support are always welcomed.
