We Believe

  • In one God, eternally existing in three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

  • That the Holy Spirit’s ministry is to reveal Christ to individuals for the salvation and sanctification of their souls. He also teaches and provides gifts to believers, equipping them to serve Jesus Christ.

  • That the Holy Bible is inspired by God and is supreme and final authority in faith and life. Written under inspiration of he Holy Spirit, it is universal and without error in the original manuscripts.

  • That mankind was created in the image of God. Having free will, mankind chose to go their independent way, thereby sinning and incurring spiritual death. Although all have sinned, God has provided a way of salvation as a gift. It cannot be earned by works. It is received only as a grace gift through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • That life is a gift of God which begins at conception with its ownership vested in the Creator.

  • That human sexuality is designed for physical expression only in the bonds of marriage between a man and a woman.

  • That the New Testament church is a group of believers committed to Jesus Christ who assemble for worship, fellowship, instruction, evangelism, prayer and service (ministry).

  • That local, regional, national and international missions are a vital part of the local churches efforts to accomplish the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

  • That baptism is the outward expression of the inward change that takes place at the time of salvation, and while not necessary for salvation, is an important act of obedience to which believers should be greatly encouraged to observe. This is one of the two ordinances of the church.

  • The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a remembrance of the Lord’s death and a promise of His return and should be observed regularly in the church, at a frequency to be determined by the leadership of the church. This is the other of the two ordinances of the church.

  • In the imminent and visible return of Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom and eternal reign.

  • In a literal heaven and hell.
